ABOUT US
Junior Cube Association is an organization to promote competitive puzzle-solving to younger
kids according to their age category. We focus on Rubik’s based puzzles like the well-known
3x3 Rubik’s cube, 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, Megaminx, Skewb, Clock, Pyraminx, and more.
We conduct online as well as offline competitions all over India.
These puzzles help develop -
Problem-solving skills
Hand to eye coordination
Increases patience and concentration level
Our objective is to prepare the child for the competition and inculcate in them the competitive
spirit which is an integral part of our life.
Having different age categories not only gives younger kids a level playing field but teaches
them the sportsman spirit in a fun acceptable way.
This in turn makes them learn more puzzles and challenge themselves to keep improving.
By giving them a platform to compete at the district, state, and national levels, we are able to
build into them the confidence to represent at the international stage.
All participants are trained and developed by our amazing team of associated mentors. Who
work from the grassroots in developing every child from just learning the Rubiks cube to getting
them competition ready.
The cubing community is very supportive and has a welcoming environment and is a great
experience for young kids to learn about the competition in a fun way.
THE BEGINNING
We started back in 2019 when we realized a core issue that young cubers were facing. The lack
of level competition among themselves. This greatly affected their approach to competitions and
learning new puzzles. This lead us to organize competitions based on age category. This not
only motivated younger kids to keep practicing but also increase their curiosity to learn new
puzzles.
The year 2020 was a difficult one for everyone, adults and kids alike. But the response we had
from online competitions was surprising.
In our first competition “Brain Gymnasticx Lockdown Unlock 2020” we received 108 participants,
with an amazing response from parents and participants alike.
Also in 2021, we hit another milestone of 400 participants in “Monsoon Cube League 2021”. Yet
again showing the enthusiasm in kids for competitions
